The Athletic first reported Monday afternoon that Baltimore was trading utility man Trey Mancini to Houston.

The move is part of a three-team trade between the Orioles, Rays and Astro

It sends Mancini and right-handed pitcher Jayden Murray to Houston via the Rays.

The Orioles get righties Seth Johnson (Rays) and Chayce McDermott (Astros) and Tampa lands outfielder Jose Siri from the Astros

Mancini is hitting .268 with a .751 OPS and 10 home runs this season.

He'll likely see a lot of time at first base, replacing the struggling Yuli Gurriel.
